How to tell us something on this site infringes your rights, and what we do when you do.

What this page is for

If material on camgocam.com infringes a copyright you hold, this is how to tell us. It also covers the reverse: what to do if something of yours was taken down and you think that was wrong.

Sending a notice

Write to [email protected] with “copyright” in the subject line. A notice we can act on contains:

  • Identification of the work you say is infringed.
  • The exact URL on this site where it appears. Not a description — the link, or we are guessing.
  • Your name and an address we can reply to.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law.
  • A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
  • Your signature, typed is fine.

What happens next

A person reads it. If the notice is complete and the claim holds up, the material comes down, and we tell whoever posted it what was removed and why.

If something is missing we will come back and ask rather than silently filing it — an incomplete notice is usually one line away from a complete one.

If your material was removed

You can dispute it. Send us the URL that was affected, your name and a contact address, a statement made in good faith that the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction that applies where you live.

We will pass it to the person who filed the original notice. If nothing follows from them, the material can go back up.

Repeat infringement

Accounts that infringe repeatedly lose access to the service. We also do not take kindly to notices sent in bad faith to silence someone — misrepresenting a claim carries its own legal consequences in most places, and it wastes the time of the people handling real ones.

One thing worth knowing about calls

A match is a live two-person room. We keep no chat history and calls are not recorded for storage, so there is generally no archived call material here to take down.

If someone captured a call and published it elsewhere, that is a breach of our rules and worth reporting to us — but the copy lives on whichever site it was posted to, and that is where a takedown has to go.

Anything on this page you want to ask about reaches a person at [email protected].
