What this covers
“Cookies” is doing a lot of work as a word. What it really means is anything kept in your browser between page loads — classic cookies, plus localStorage, which is what this site mostly uses.
There are four categories below. Two of them are not optional and the page says why rather than calling them “strictly necessary” and moving on.
The ones you cannot switch off
These pages write exactly two things of their own, and both have to stay:
Your 18+ confirmation
Key camgocam:age-confirmed:v1. It records that you stated you are 18 or older before entering the product. It is kept on the device rather than on an account because there is no account — which also means clearing your site data makes it ask again. That is expected.
It cannot be optional: it is the record of a legal statement, not a measurement. Declining it and using the product anyway is not a coherent combination.
Your answer to the cookie banner
Key cgc_consent_v1. It exists so we stop asking. Storing the answer is the only way to honour it — a site that forgets your “no” asks you again tomorrow.
Keeping a call working
Once you are inside the matching product, the platform it runs on keeps session and sign-in state so a call does not drop when you change page. That is operational, not analytical.
Preferences
Small settings you chose yourself — things like a gender preference or a country filter — are remembered so you do not re-pick them every visit. Nothing here identifies you; it is a record of choices, not of a person.
Measurement
We count how many people arrive and which pages they land on, using Google Analytics. It tells us that a page got four hundred visits, not who the four hundred were.
This is the part that is up to you, and it is the only category the banner is asking about.
Third-party storage
Two outside systems are involved in running this: Google Analytics for the counting described above, and the real-time video infrastructure that carries a call while it is happening. Each sets its own storage under its own rules.
We do not run advertising pixels on this site, and there is no ad network following you from here to somewhere else.
Your choice, and the default
The default is no. Before you answer the banner, optional measurement runs in a mode that sets no identifying storage — Google's Consent Mode, with analytics storage denied.
Both buttons on that banner are the same size and sit in the same place. “Essential only” is a real answer, not a smaller link under the real one, and picking it costs you nothing in the product.
We apply that default everywhere rather than only in regions that require it. The honest cost: our own visitor numbers read lower than reality, because people who never answer are never counted with identifiers. We decided a banner whose answer actually changes something beats a banner that is theatre.
How to control it yourself
The button above reopens the banner and forgets your previous answer. Beyond that, your browser is the real control panel:
- Clearing this site's data removes everything listed on this page, including your 18+ confirmation.
- Blocking cookies for this site works, and parts of the product will stop working — that is a consequence, not a punishment.
- A private or incognito window starts clean every time and forgets everything when you close it.
Changes
If we add a category — an advertising pixel would be the obvious example — your old answer will not be carried over to cover it, because it was an answer to a different question. Everyone gets asked again, and the date at the top of this page moves.
